Welcome to the official site of Killing Floor - the classic British blues rock band, formed on February 14th 1968 by Mick Clarke and Bill Thorndycraft. Killing Floor features the original four piece line-up of Bill Thorndycraft, Mick Clarke, Stuart McDonald and Bazz Smith.

Sad to report - on Monday 20 February we lost an old old friend, Jan McDonald, wife of Killing Floor bass guitarist Stuart 'Mac' McDonald. A great lady and friend - also a fine blues singer in her own right. Our love and condolences to Mac. R.I.P. Jan.



Bill Thorndycraft's previous project - A&E and the Big C - album released Friday 7th October 2022. 'a brilliant, uncomplicated blues album' - Blues Matters Magazine. In tribute to our friend Geb Ring who succumbed to his illness on 16th March 2023. Click here for more info



Stuart "Mac" McDonald has been working with the Herefordshire based Sultana Brothers and guitarist Troy Redfern.
