Mick writes:

Here's Elmore's classic done in a kind of stripped down British 3 piece style, circa 1968. A touch of "The Taste" perhaps. I still remember seeing their first London Marquee appearance - straight from Cork. About as raw as it gets.

Guitar on this track is a Strat, despite the artwork pic of Gnasher. I wanted it as clean and cutting as possible, so that's a single pole pickup job. I was actually going to make a whole album with this sound but.. I got sidetracked!

Anyway, this and all the current crop of singles will be on the album "Telegram" set for release 16th September 2022.

I can't stop lovin', my baby at night
No I can't stop lovin', my baby at night
Don't matter what I do, she won't treat me right

I left my baby, this mornin' soon
I left my baby, this mornin' soon
I didn't come back home, till in the afternoon

I believe my baby she's all alone
Yeah I believe that woman, she's all alone
And I ain't had no lovin', now my baby's gone

Oh baby, take a walk with me
Yes darlin', come on and walk with me
I'll make you as happy, as anyone can be

Oh baby, I'm all alone
Yes baby, I'm all alone
I hope someday you'll come back home
