It's that time again - so here's "Santa Goes Rockin'" back for another spin, along with a remixed "Donde Esta Santa Claus" and two other Xmas related recordings.

"Santa Goes Rockin'" was released in 2021 and did well - to me it's a kind of tribute to Chuck Berry's "Run Rudolph Run" and some of the lyrics relate to Chuck's classic. Slide guitar on my old Rosetti - the first guitar I ever owned back in 1963. Good to see that once again it's been picked up by radio presenters all around the world, and is on over a thousand Spotify playlists - Santa keeps on Rockin!

"Donde" was originally a big hit back in the 50s, sung by a little girl, Augie Rios. I fancied it as a rocked up Ritchie Valens kind of thing, so here it is - I think it's a lot of fun, and features the Rockfold Rhythm Section (Linda) on tambourine.

My version of Freddie's "Christmas Tears" dropped like a stone when it was first released - honest! However discerning listeners and presenters have continues to discover its merits. I like it a lot - I hope Freddie would approve.

And my own "Christmas Canter".. I had this little tune floating around in my head for about two years before I actually recorded it, so it must have something going for it. Dashed out here with jingle bells from a real Santa, and various time signature changes which I couldn't begin to explain because I don't understand them myself. Starts off as a sleighride through a mythical snowy London town and ends up as some kind of festive hoedown. All good.
