Ain't That A Pity

Mick writes:

Here's a rocking 12 bar shuffle of the kind I was brought up listening to. As a tribute to those days I took the colour scheme from the cover of my old copy of BB King's 'Blues is King' - still one of the greatest live blues guitar records ever. (Hard to get nowadays, but available on Spotify as 'Live at the International Club')

My Epiphone Dot with Parsons Road PAFs sounding good. Will be on the forthcoming album in the Autumn.

Mick Clarke - Ain't That A Pity Ain't that a pity - when the blues come down on you
Ain't that a pity - when the blues come down on you
Thought you had it made up - then yo plans go fallin through

Ain't that a pity - trouble knockin at yo door
Ain't that a pity - trouble knockin at yo door
Thought you was a high roller - now you don't roll no more

Stumblin' and stallin'- out here in the rain
Just blues come callin' - worry trouble n pain
Ain't that a pity - when the blues come down on you
Thought you had it made up - then yo world go fallin through
Ain't that a pity
Ain't that a pity
Ain't that a pity
mm
Thought you had it made up - man what can you do
